Child Safety Policy

1. Introduction & Purpose

Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) – Digital Platform (PML-N Digital) is committed to protecting the safety, privacy, and well-being of children. This Child Safety Policy establishes the standards and obligations that govern any interaction involving minors on our platform and outlines our zero-tolerance stance toward child exploitation, abuse, and inappropriate content.

2. Scope

This policy applies to:

• All registered users, members, and party workers using the PML-N Digital Platform.
• All content uploaded, shared, or transmitted through this platform.
• All administrators, moderators, and staff with access to the platform.

3. Prohibited Content & Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on this platform:

• Any content that sexually exploits, abuses, or harms minors (CSAM – Child Sexual Abuse Material).
• Grooming, solicitation, or any form of inappropriate communication directed at minors.
• Sharing personal information of children without verifiable parental/guardian consent.
• Bullying, harassment, or intimidation targeting minors.
• Recruitment or coercion of minors for any political, financial, or other activities without proper guardian consent.

4. Age Restriction

This platform is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to register or use this platform. If we become aware that a minor has created an account, we will promptly suspend and remove that account.

5. Reporting Violations

Any user who encounters content or behavior that violates this policy is required to report it immediately. Reports can be submitted through the following channels:

• In-platform reporting: Use the "Report" feature available on content or user profiles.

All reports will be treated confidentially and investigated promptly.

6. Content Moderation

PML-N Digital employs the following safeguards to enforce this policy:

• Manual review of flagged content by trained moderators.
• Immediate removal of any content found to violate this policy pending investigation.
• Permanent suspension of accounts found to have uploaded or shared prohibited content.

7. Cooperation with Authorities

PML-N Digital will cooperate fully with Pakistani law enforcement agencies and relevant international bodies (including the Federal Investigation Agency – FIA Cybercrime Wing) when child safety violations are identified. We will preserve and provide evidence as required by law, including reporting confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or equivalent Pakistani authorities.

8. Consequences of Violations

Violations of this policy may result in:

• Immediate account suspension or permanent ban.
• Removal of all associated content.
• Reporting to relevant law enforcement authorities.
• Legal action as applicable under Pakistani law (PECA 2016 and other applicable statutes).

9. Policy Review

This policy is reviewed periodically to ensure it remains current and effective. We are committed to updating it in line with evolving legal requirements and best practices in child online safety.
